The booking enquiry page is provided so you can express an interest in booking the hall. It does not form a contract. The booking manager will be in touch shortly after you have made your enquiry with further instructions.
Promoting your event
As can be seen from other entries on this website there is the opportunity to advertise your event and also include a description of your event and your contact details if the event or club is open to the general public by application. You will be asked for more information later so that the entry can be completed. This will also help your event to be discovered through search engines.

Requests for bookings can only be made by email or through the form in the website. You can contact the Booking Secretary on the following email address: bookings@prestwoodvillagehall.org.uk
To make a booking please review the facilities available and make sure that these meet your needs. The rates for the rooms vary by times and days. You can either book the whole facility, or one of the two halls. We will be populating the calendar several months ahead of the current date. It is also worth checking to see if the hall is available for the dates you wish to book. You may be able to find this out by reviewing the calendar. However please note that any current clients using the hall on a regular basis may not be shown. The absence of a booking for a given date does not necessarily mean that the facility is available. Please check by sending in an enquiry.
We have also made available some diagrams of the hall which you can use for planning your event, these can be found on the facilities page at the bottom. A virtual tour of the facility is available below.

Checking for available slots
Partly because of the limitations of the calendar and the many ways we can present it; it can be quite difficult to identify a regular slot on a weekly or monthly basis. The presentations below may help to make this easier. Note that an event can be in the main hall, the Yorston Hall (smaller hall) or both. Some bookings use both, others use one or the other. You should also be mindful about what else may be going on in the main hall if you are booking the Yorston Hall. Especially if the event that is sharing the building is loud music.
While we are in the process of improving the calendar there may be errors present. The master record of bookings which is used to find available slots is a paper A4 Diary which is kept up to date. We are currently developing the booking process to make it more streamlined.
The calendar entries have coloured boxes. The boxes are generally as follows: Red: Yorston Hall, Blue: Main hall, Yellow: Both halls. Open a box to find out the details of hall category and times.

You can use the first tab of this calendar to help you to locate an available slot. There are options for selecting the hall. Note that the bookings are made for either the Yorston Hall, the Main Hall or both Yorston and Main Halls. You can select or deselect those options to change the format of the calendar.
You can also navigate to different days or months to check availability.
If you find a slot which you think is suitable send us the details in on the booking form and we will check against the master calendar and advise accordingly.
Colour Code
There are generally three colours in use in the calendar.
- Red is the Yorston Hall
- Blue is the Main Hall
- Yellow is Both Halls
