King’s Church
The King’s Church is a community church –
A community of people who love to worship God, to learn from his word and to pray together. Our Sunday services start at 10.30am, with refreshments served from 10.20am. Visitors are always welcome. Please check our website here https://www.kingschurchprestwood.org/ as there are a few Sundays in the year when the village hall is occupied so we meet elsewhere. Every couple of months we offer a Sunday breakfast or lunch followed by a short service. There is also a group for children during part of the Sunday service. We work together with other local churches, enjoying joint services and the children’s holiday week, Lighthouse.
A community of people who seek to serve and bless the community in which we live, initiating and supporting many local projects from youthwork (Misbourne Area Youth) to community transport (Prestwood Area Community Transport) and a local free newspaper (HP16 The Source). Our minister, Colin Veysey, will be well known to many and has always been involved in many local community groups. Our band, The Wick Trimmers are often playing at local events and run a popular monthly folk club, Chequers Folk.
